Merry Christmas 2010

Merry Christmas!!!

I hope you all had a great Christmas this year again.

We hosted Christmas Eve dinner this year.

There were foie gras, oyster and smoked salmon for French Christmas tradition.

For hot starter, we did prown tempra and cooked oyster with miso sauce.

Sounds very fancy but they are Japanese traditional food, Thomas's favourite.

And for main course, it was duck beast with chestnuts tree honey and apple sauce.

They were mixed of French and Japanese cuisine.

I think it was great success!

On the Christmas day, Thomas was very happy with all presents from papa Noel.

Saya was also given her first dolls from papa Noel. They are 3 of them!!

It is very sweet to see that baby Saya holding baby doll.

Renaud is having a relaxing time on a sofa and enjoying his favourite drink, Pastis.

I am also feel very tired and sleepy after all excited Christmas preparation.

クリスマス２０１０

今年も無事にクリスマスが終わりました。

今年は私たちがレノーのママ家族をご招待してのクリスマスイブ。

フォアグラ、スモークサーモン、オイスター,フレンチクリスマスの定番から始まり、

暖かいスターターに、トマの好きなえびのてんぷらと

私自身のリクエスト、広島の牡蠣の土手鍋を思い出す牡蠣の味噌ソース。

日本語にすると、ただの牡蠣の味噌汁の様だね。笑　

でもオイスターは殆ど煮ないのと、ソースをめちゃめちゃ濃くつくっておくのがポイントなのだ。

メインコースは、鴨の胸肉に栗木のハチミツとリンゴソース。

口安めに、青りんごのかき氷とヴォッカ。

レノーに頼んだら、予想以上のヴォッカの量で、ノックアウトーーー！！！

それからの記憶は定かではないんだけど。。。。。

まあ、とりあえず、料理は全部平らげたし、成功に終わったと思います。

次の日はかなりの二日酔いだったのできっとかなりの量のヴォッカだったんだと思う。

次の日のクリスマス。

トマとさやちゃん。大興奮でした。

トマは全てのおもちゃ、服、日本の本、などなどに大満足。

さやちゃんも初めてのお人形をもらって大忙し。3人もいるから大変です。

あかちゃんさやちゃんがあかちゃん人形を抱く姿は超かわいいーーー。うふ。

レノーはゆっくりと短い休暇を大好きなパスティスと共に楽しんでます。

私も、クリスマスの準備に大忙しだったので、今はひたすらゆっくりとしています。

あーーー、眠い。

Christmas market

It is already in December.

I saw the news about snow in UK.

I guess all my friends and their kids had a party in snow.

How nice!!!

Here is very cold and wet.

It is so dark all day and makes me don't want to go out.

So, I stay inside and enjoying internet all day.

Luckily Saya is wonderfully easy girl.

After her lunch, she has routine going to bed.

When I say to her , Do Do !!( sleep in French, baby word, of course)

She starts looking for her pink blanket and go to bed room by herself.

I am just folloing her sweet bottom, and let her lie on bed.

Normally, she will fall sleep in 5 mins.

wow............how lucky I am!!

She starts saying word too.

like Papa, Tomtom. Encore(again in French), Yoisho(Japanese), Oishi(Japanese)

We are having a fun with her everyday.

In this month, there is many Christmas markets.

Unfortunately, It is not so interesting market around here.

Decoration is very minimum

Most of the products are far too expensive.

My suggestion is don't bother coming to the Christmas market in Provence.

There is better market somewhere in north east of France or in Paris of course.

Only thing I don't mind to go out is to see the Christmas lights at Uncle Guy's house.

Every year, he gets award for the best illumination in the village.

He is famous and many people come to see his house every year.

There is hot wine and hot sandwich to donate for charity too.

We enjoy the lights and hot wine in the cold air.

maybe a little bit too much hot wine.

We enjoyed the Christmas illumination made by uncle Guy.

Anyway, I feel busy for NOTHING everyday.

streeeeeeees ......for Christmas rush.

クリスマスマーケット

12月に入って、イギリスでは既に積雪というニュースを聞き、

みんなが雪の中でたわむれる光景を夢に描いています。

こっちはというと、くらーーくて、さむーーくて、シトシトと雨も降ってます。

外に外出しようという気もしないので、一日中家でインターネット三昧。

明るい話題は、さやちゃん。

本当に世話を焼かないので助かっています。

だいたい、お昼ご飯の後、私がお昼寝ーっていったら、

分かってますといわんばかりに、ドードー（フランス語で寝るという意味）と言いながら、

お気に入りのブランケットを片手にとっとと自分でベットに向かいます。

私は、ただ彼女のふりふりおしりの後を追うばかり。

だいたい5分もあれば寝入ってしまいます。

なんてラッキーな私。

言葉もすこしづつ出てきました。

パパ、トムトム、アンコー（仏），よいしょ、おいしい、日本語も入ってます。

12月と言えば、クリスマスマーケットの季節。

プロバンスのクリスマスマーケットはとても寒い上に、飾りつけも地味。

売ってるものもたいしたものはありません。

私の率直な意見としては、

フランス北東部アルザス地方やパリのクリスマスマーケットの方が何十倍もいいと思います。

まあ、出不精な私はネットでお買い物するしかないですね。笑

私たちの冬の行事のひとつは、レノーの叔父さん、アンクル　ギ　のお家のクリスマスイルミネーションを観にいく事です。

毎年村のコンペティションで優勝するほどの派手さ。笑

半端じゃありません！！

すっかり地元では有名でたくさんの人が叔父さんの家を見にやってきます。

あまりにも人が集まるので、叔父さんたちはサンドイッチとホットワインを売ってチャリティーに寄付しはじめました。

でもきーーんと冷たい空気の中で、綺麗なイルミネーションを見ながらホットワインを飲むのも悪くはないです。ちなみに寒すぎるので、私はひたすらワインを飲み続け、すっかり酔っ払ってしまいました。

たのしい冬のひと時。でした。

いまからクリスマスシーズンまっただ中。

なーーーんにもしてないけど、なんか忙しく感じるというか、

とってもストレスを感じます。分かる、分かる？！

Autumn colour

Hello.

It's been 3weeks since I became a house wife.

I feel so lazy and haven't done anything so far.

Never mind, I am not in a rush!!

It was another breathtaking view of Autumn colours in Provence.

All the grape trees had changed their colour amazingly.

Because there are different kinds of grapes planted around here, you see the different colour of leaves on the land.

You see the cherry trees have changed their colour to the deep red from top to bottom.

Even Thomas enjoy the view every morning on the way to school.

I was so sure that Japanese Autumn colour is the best in the world but I changed my opinion and looking forward to next year already.

Unfortunately in November it has been horrible weather outside.

There is no more leaves left sadly as the strong wind and rains took away all of them.

Also the beautiful red cherry tree is now looks sad and cold.

Winter is getting closer definitely.

秋色

レストランの仕事が終わってすでに3週間がたちました。

あっという間ですね。

でも私はいまだに思い腰を上げてません。

おもいっきり、オタクです。

でも正直言って、まあ、いいや！っておもってまーす。笑　

プロバンスの秋は素晴らしかったです。

ホームシックでマッキーとかスピッツとか聞きまくっていた私も癒されました。

この辺りにはたくさんの違う種類の葡萄の木が植えてあるので、畑ごとに違う色が現れます。

桜の木もゆっくりと、上から下へと色を変え、最後は真っ赤になってしまいました。

トマでさえ、毎日学校へ行く途中、その景色を見て感動していました。

今まで日本の秋色が世界で一番美しいと思っていましたが、どうやら違ったようですね。

ここにも、アリマシタ！！！

来年またこの景色に会えるのが楽しみです。

残念ながら11月に入って、嵐のような天候がつづき、綺麗な葡萄の葉も全部散ってしまいました。

桜の木も寂しそうで、寒そうです。

確実に冬が近づいています。

トマはすっかりスピッツのチェリーが大好きになって、でたらめな日本語で歌ってくれるようになりました。なぜか、愛してルーのさびのところは、ちゃんと言えてます。良しよし！

しばらく、親子でスピッツブームです。

Season Off

Here I am, enjoying my holiday.

Thank you for all your surpports during my first season at Cote Fountain.

Since I finished my job last week, I am still not sure how should I use my free time.

So far, I have done NOTHING.

There is the list for things to do but no rush, I am just taking time and enjoying this morment.

Nothing to do my life in Provence but I want to mention about my home town Hiroshima.

Hiroshima is hosting the World Peace summit 2010.

Many people who has got nobel prise for peace will attend this meeting.

As far as I known, this is the most biggest project Hiroshima has since they started campaigning for total elimination of nuclear weapons.

Everytime when some country had experiment of nuclear weapons at somewhere in the world, the small group of people had a protest at memorial peace park in Hiroshima, and they quietly sat in front of the monument and try to send a message of against the nuclear weapons, they had kept closing their eyes, said NOTHING, just sat there quietly for long long hours.

I had daught how many people in the world will get their message throught this way???

Is it too QUIET????

When I heard this summit news today, I thought about that old people who were sitting at the park in Hiroshima. I am sure the most of them are already gone by now as they were old 30 years ago.

Their message has finally reached to the world and will be even bigger in the future.

I wish I am in Hiroshima, and joinging the summit between Darai rama and Gorbachov.

Even better if US president will be there.............maybe next time!!!.

シーズン　オフ

やっと待ちにまった休暇に入りました！いやっほーーー！！！

仕事期間中はたくさんの暖かい、がんばれメッセージどうもありがとうございました。

おかげさまで、無事にフランスでの初仕事、乗り切る事ができました。

たくさんやりたい事はあるんだけど、どれから手をつけていいかわかりません。

今週はゆっくりナーーンにもしませんでした。

こりゃーいいもんだ。

でも来週からは少しずつ何かしようかなと思ってます。笑

とりあえず、今はこの満足感と自由になった喜びの余韻を楽しみます。期間限定ですから！

　

突然ですが、私の故郷の広島について語らしていただきます。

広島が来週開催されるワールド　ピース　サミットのホストになると聞きました。

世界中から過去のノーベル平和賞の受賞者が集って、世界の平和について語るらしいです。

広島が核爆弾の廃滅を願って活動をはじめて以来一番多いな催しものといっていいでしょう。

広島には、どこかの国で原子力爆弾の実験が行われる度に平和公園にあつまって、黙々と、何時間も眼を瞑って座り込む人たちが居ます。

こんな方法でいったいなんの意味があるんだろう。いったい世界中でどのくらいの人たちが、この座り込みのメッセージを理解してくれるんだろう。と思ったものです。

今日、このニュースを聞いたとき一番にこの人たちのことを想いました。

あれから３０年以上も時がたってるので、きっと今では他界された人も多いいと思いますが、

彼らのメッセージがやっと世界に届いた！！

なんだか、とてもうれしいです。

私も広島に居て　ダライラマさんとゴルバチョフさんの間に座ってサミットに参加できたらいいなー。

もしアメリカの大統領もいたらもっといいんだけどねー。　まあ、次の機会ということで。笑

これまた、事後報告ですが、

プロバンスと言えば、ラベンダー。

7月の終わりから、8月の半ばまで見られます。

すぐに刈り取られしまうので、長く見られないのが残念ですが、

もしこの辺りに旅行される機会があれば、ぜひぜひこの時期をねらって来てください。

写真のアイスクリームは私のお気に入り。

ラベンダー、ウォールナッツ、ヌーガーのアイスクリームです。

うーーー。絶品です。

Summer holiday 2

Thomas spent most of the August at Mamie's house as my work demanded a lot of my time.

He had very relaxing time with Mamie and Pappie, and little dog chipie.

There was Fete every weekend at every villages in Provence.

Normally it will finish around 3 o'clock in the morning.

I don't have many off at work but we managed to visit a few places like Maremort, Venasque, Perne les fontain, Chateauneuf du pape.... .

It was great fun!!!

My first Summer in France went very fast and it was great fun.

It had started Avignon festival in July and finished fete a Venasque in Aug.

We all had great time.

Now in September,

Thomas is back to school.

There is new man teacher this year and there is different atmosphere in the school.

It seems more relax......I like it!

Me..........after super busy August, it much more quieter and relax.

but still full up at dinner time.

We supposed to close the restaurant in October but my boss wants to keep it open until December.

So my long holiday seems like far away.

In France, People who worked more than 6 months entitle to get unemployed benefit.

I certainly will enjoy my holiday with small benefit from French government.

Can't wait!!!!!

事後報告ですが、

その後の8月のトマの夏休みは、ほとんどマミー（レノーのママ）のお家ですごしました。

8月のプロバンス、週末は必ずどこかの村でお祭りがありました。

日本と違うのは、このお祭り、だいたい夜中の3時くらいまでつづくこと。

マレモット、ベナスク、ペーンネフォンテン、シャトナフデュパプなど、

私たちも私の少ない休みを利用して、思い切り楽しみました。

フランスに来てはじめてのバカンス。　

7月のアビニヨンフェスティバルに始まり、

あちこちの村のフェテ（お祭り）。

私たち家族みんなで、大満足。

ということで、あっという間に2ヶ月の夏休みが終わってしまいました。

トマはすでにベナスクの学校に戻っています。

今年からマタネルのグランセクション。

日本的には幼稚園の年長さん。

今年から、新しい男の先生に代わって

小さな学校の雰囲気が変わたように思います。

なんとなくリラックス。

私も、超忙しかった8月が去って、また元の静かなベナスクに戻っています。

レストランはお昼のお客はずいぶん少なくなりました。ホッ。

夜は平日もまだまだいっぱいです。

このまま10月いっぱいまでOPENする予定ですなのですが、

オーナーは12月まで続けたいそうなので

私のホリデイはまだまだ先になりそうです。

ちなみに労働者の国のフランスでは、6ヶ月以上働いた人は休職手当てがもらえるそうなので、

私も国からの手当てをもらいながらゆっくり冬を越すつもりでーーーす。

待ち遠しいよーーーー！！！

Summer holiday 1

It's has been already nearly one month since Thomas started on his holiday.

He is having a lot of fun without me.

The first week, he went to beach holiday at St Mary de la mere for 5days with Pappie Yvonne and Mammie Annie.　

and he is now staying at Tattie Sophie who live in a small village foot of Pyrenees.

He sometimes goes to Holiday camp where Sophie works as volunteer.

He experienced many things and made many friends at there.

I miss his so much.

He said I miss you too, mama!

There is NO sense of sadness what so ever.

Surely Thomas is enjoying his summer holiday without his parents so far.

He is a big boy!!!!!!

トマの夏休みが始まって、すでに1ヶ月がたとうとしています。

トマはとーーーても楽しんでます。

まず、最初の週は、イボンヌおじーちゃんと、アニーおばあちゃんとでビーチホリデイ。

サント　マリー　デュ　ラ　メールのフラットに1週間滞在。

蚊の猛攻撃にも負けず、たくさん泳いで、たくさん遊んだ様子。

今は、ソフィーおばさんの住むピレニー山脈のふもとの小さな村に長期滞在。

ソフィーがボランティアをするホリデイキャンプに一緒に遊びに行って、これまた、いろんな体験をしているようです。

来週末に帰ってくる予定。

ちょっとさみしいママであります。

トマも、僕も寂しいよーママ！っていってくれるけど、

とっても寂しそうにない様子。笑

大きくなったナーーー。と感じます。

Cote fontain

I have been working as CHEF DE CUISINE at a restaurant in Venasque called Cote Fontaine since April.

The restaurant has about 30 seats max, it has the best view of the village of Venasque.

It was very difficult to start working for me as I had a year off work since I left my previous job.

But now, I feel like I am ready for the busiest time of the year in July and August.

My menu is very simple Provençal food with a little twist as you would expect.

But we still have a high standard as the RESTAURANT in FRANCE, which means it has to be fancier than British food.

Since we opened, we had a very good reaction from the customers and have many repeaters.

Most of the customers are staying at hotel or holiday house around the area and often book the table for the following day.　

Yesterday, the English customer came to the kitchen saying Thank you.

and he asked me to come to England working for him(of course it is a joke!)

and I said to him, Great!! I love to!!! but I just moved to France from England!!!

I knew my boss had big ear behind me.

We are nearly full house almost every nights, and it will be even busier in July !! we hope.

This job is only summer time, We will finish in October. I am planning to go to Japan after for long holiday. I can't wait!!!!

I deeply appreciate Renaud supporting me for everything.

He is looking after Thomas and Saya most of the time, and he is doing very well.

They are having great time together without me. BOOOOOO-------.

Thomas always says when I leave the house,

レストラン　コテ　フォンテン（噴水のそば）

ご存知のとおり、4月から仕事に復帰しています。

レストラン　コテ　フォンテン、噴水のそばという意味です。

その名の通り、思いっきりベナスクのメインスクエアーの噴水に面しています。

レストランはとても小さくて、満席で30人程度。窓際の席からは、噴水の水の流れる音と共に典型的なプロバンスの村、ベナスクを見渡せます。

仕事を始めた頃はやはりとても大変でしたが、ようやく仕事のペースにもなれて、一番忙しい7月と8月もダイジョウブ！という自身が出てきました。

レストランでは、基本的には伝統的なプロバンス料理。でも少しひねってモダンにした感じ。

フランス風に、少しおしゃれっぽくした料理といったらいいのかなー。

基本は新鮮な野菜をふんだんに使ったシンプル料理です。

オープンして以来、お客さんの反応もとても順調で、たくさんのリピーターにも恵まれてきました。

殆どのお客さんはこの辺りのホテルやホリデーハウスに滞在しているので、会計を済ませた後すぐ、明日の夜の予約お願いしマースと帰っていく方たちもたくさん居ます。

わざわざキッチンまで下りてきて、お礼を言って帰って行く方たちも。

おかげさまで、殆ど毎晩のように満席状態です。といっても30人くらいだから、一人でもダイジョウブ！！！

CHEFからしてみれば、うれしい限りです。

レストランは季節営業なので、10月までで終わり。その後は日本で長いホリデイを予定しています。

楽しみです。

いつも、トマとさやの面倒を見てくれるレノーに感謝。

3人で仲良くやっている様子。笑

ママがいなくても全然平気。しっかり3人のペースを作っています。ちょっとヤキモチ。

仕事に出賭け際にトマがいつも言います。

バイバイ、ビジービー（働き蜂）！！！

fete de l'ecole

The school of venasque had a fete de l'ecole, which is school play and party for the year end.

They had a musical play all together in the school courtyard.

The theme for this year was Africa.

They danced and sung in African.

We were so impressed by Thomas's dancing.

He has good moves and good rhythm.

Maybe he is going to be a DANCER!!!

I am not surprised.......................he is MY son.

After the fete we went to the restaurant with 3 other families for a treat.

Thomas and his friends had a specilal room by themself for play fighting. .. . . .boys love it!!

They had a great time together until late.

We have decided to let Thomas stay at the school in Venasque at the end, even though the school in Malemort is in 2 mins from our house.

Because we like the school in Venasque and also all the parents in Venasque seems very welcoming people.

He seems very happy with his school and friends.

Thomas had finished his school in France in 2010 nicely.

Well done Thomas!

Now he is on Holiday. ( His school finishes on 2 of July)

Bonnes Vacances

学園祭

トマの学校、ベナスクで年度末の学園祭らしきものが催されました。

今年のテーマはアフリカ。

子供たちは、学年に分かれて、歌や踊りを両親に披露。

アフリカ語で歌をうたったり、おどったり、とても充実した内容。

トマの踊りのうまさにびっくり。かなりいけてました。

ちゃんとリズムに乗ってたし、踊りの内容もかなりの高レベル。

まあ、私の息子ですから！　驚かないけど、、、、、

将来はダンサー？？？？イイジャーーン！！！

その後はトマの友達のご両親たち、4家族で、近くのレストランに。

レストランでは、子供たちだけで遊べるプレイルームを提供され、男の子たち5人は、ファイティングゲームに夜おそくまで夢中でした。　

私たちは、結局来年も、この小さな田舎の学校にトマを行かせる事に。

マレモーの学校がうちの家から歩いて2分にもかかわらず。笑

フランスに引っ越して来て、もうすぐ1年。トマも学校になじみ、学校の全校生徒とお友達になってる様だし、ベナスクの学校は小さいので、大きな子と小さな子が一緒に遊び、先生も両親もみんな協力的。理想的な環境だと思います。

通えない距離ではないので、（車で8分）いまさら変える必要もないかなー。と。

なには、ともあれ、トマの学校は今週で終わり。

トマは一足早くすでにおじーちゃんと、おばーちゃんとビーチで1週間のホリデイを過ごしております。

私たちはお留守番。

トマ、2010年、国も言葉も変わったのに、毎日元気で前向きにがんばりました。

Wild flower in Provence

I love to see the wild flowers by the side of the road.

There are so many wild flowers blooming in Provence.

Since the beautiful cherry blossoms, we have a medley of wild flowers everywhere.

They are completely hands free.

It makes natural beauty in Provence mixed with white sun light and honey stone old houses.

I remember the place I grew up in Hiroshima, there were many wild flowers too.

Something we called "snake flower"( yellow) or "blood flower"(Red),

and NO name blue(little blue) flowers,........yes, I have no idea how they are called.

I have to admit that the way we called flower were very weird too.

The wild flowers haven't got nice names anyway.

Of course there is many Roses from the gardens(not mine), they are also blooming beautifully now.

たくさんの野生の花が道端に咲き乱れてます。

このプロバンスには本当にたくさんの野生の花があるようです。

桜の花以来、この野生の花が次々に咲いてます。ポピー、あやめ、ライラック。

人が作った美しさとは違う自然の美しさが太陽の光と石つくりの家と混じって、とても魅力的です。

私が育った広島の田舎にもたくさんの野生の花がありました。

蛇の花。あざみ？青い花。　アレ？

はい、まったく名前は知りません！

生け花の先生であるうちの母はきっとため息をついてるでしょう。笑

野花の名前って,かわいくないんだよねー。覚えにくいって言うか。ぶつぶつぶつ。

もちろん、たくさんのバラも咲きまくってます。

綺麗ですねー。

Happy Birthday Thomas 5th, Saya 1st.

Thomas became 5 years old on 2nd of May.

Saya is going to be 1 year old on 6th of May.

We are very busy for celebrating their birthday this week.

Thomas

He can ride a bike without stabilizer.

車輪なしで自転車に乗れます。

He can sleep through the night without wetting his bed.

夜、おねしょをしません。

He can speak English and French also getting better with Japanese too.

英語とフランス語を流暢に話します。日本語も少しづつ良くなってきました。

He can run very long time, actually better than me.

長い時間走れます。

He likes super hero like power ranger, kamen rider, iron man, super man,,,,,etc.

ヒーロー物ならなんでも好きです。パワーレンジャー、仮面ライダー、アイロンマン、スーパーマン。などなど、限りがありません。

He likes watching DVD, with English and Japanese.

英語と日本語のＤＶＤが好きです。

He likes Mama's noodle, Mamie's soup, Papa's pizza.

ママのうどん、マミー（フランスのおばあちゃん）のスープ、パパのピザが好きです。

He love Saya.

さやちゃん、大好き。

No girl friend. ( we haven't been informed yet)

彼女なし。（まだ知らされてません。とりあえず）

She can stand by herself without support.

一人で立ちます。

She can sleep through the night.

夜通して寝てくれます。

She can drink milk holding bottle by herself.(very handy!)

ミルクをボトルを自分で持って飲みます。

She can do bye bye.

バイバイが出来ます。

She likes eating bread. (very economical!)

パンをかじるのが好き。

She likes chocolate cake, Japanese onigiri senbei.

チョコレートケーキと日本のおにぎりせんべいが好き。

She likes bouncy castle.

バウンシーキャスルが好き。

She loves Thomas.

トマが大好き。

No teeth.

Spring in Provence

Hello! Long time no see!

We are fine and enjoying the sunny spring in Provence.

I have heard there is nice whether in England this year.

I missed England dearly for the beautiful daffodils and thin sun light through the thick air.

But not anymore.

After seeing this beautiful cherry blossoms, I am fully charged!!!

This cherry blossoms went so quickly and I can see the cherry fruits now.

There is the colourful iris and red poppy blooming instead.

Also, We are having a lot of wonderful fruits and vegetables.

I LOVE SPRING IN PROVENCE!!!!

プロバンスの春

お久しぶりです。

私たちはとても元気で、プロバンスの春を楽しんでいます。

イギリスでは珍しくお天気がいい春が続いていると聞いて、

イギリスのダフォデルをとても恋しく思っていました。

でももうダイジョウブ。桜の花が満開になったとたんに元気になりました。

ハイ！あいかわらず単純！です。

残念ながら、この桜あっという間に散ってしまいました。

今では、さくらんぼが、日に日に大きくなってます。

今は色とりどりのアイリス（あやめ）と真っ赤なポピイが咲き乱れてます。

花だけでなく、たくさんの果物や野菜も旬を迎えてます。

心から、プロバンスの春は素晴らしい。（溜息）　

みなさんも、それぞれの春を楽しんでくださいね！！！

Moving the house

Tomorrow will be the last day in La Bastide Bleue in Venasque.

We are moving to the nearest village, Malemort du Comtat.

Thomas will stay the same school in Venasque for now and we have to take him to this village every day.

It will take about 8mins by car to come to school, but all the way to there is up the hill.

We have to change to smaller car because our car is too big engine and the petoro costs us big head ache everymonth.

La bastied bleue is amazing house and very quiet. we enjoyed so much.

Unfortunately, summer season will come and this house will be filled by tourists weekly bases.

We are also excited to go to new house too.

It will be much smaller and no swimming pool and no huge garden.

But it will be our house where we can stay as long as we want and we can open our boxes from England finally.

Thomas is very excited to see his old toys in his box too.

The sad thing about leaving this house is cherry blossoms in the garden was just about blooming. It will be amazing view if all the tree has pink little flower.

It will be fully bloomed in 1 or 2weeks.

Maybe we will come to have see cherry blossoms soon again.

well...... good bay house!!!!

お引っ越し

明日はこの家で過ごす最後の日になります。

私たちはここから一番近くの村のマレモー　デュ　コンタットという所に引っ越します。

トマはこのままベナスクの学校に通うので毎日来るまで送り迎えです。

車で8分くらいなのですが、行きはずーっと坂道を登ります。

小さい車に買い換えないと。今の車ではガソリン代がかかりすぎ。

今の家はとても大きくて、綺麗で、快適なんだけど、残念ながら夏のシーズン中は週代わりで旅国客の貸家となります。

今度の新しい家は今の家よりずっと小さくて、プールもないし、でっかい庭もありません。

でもイギリスから持ってきた自分たちの家具や荷物をやっと倉庫からだせる喜びがあります。

期間限定でないから、やっと定住できる！という喜び。

トマも、きっと古いおもちゃとの再会で喜ぶでしょう。

ヒトツだけ心残りなのは、桜。　庭の桜は今にも花が咲きそうです。

きっと１、２週間もたたないうちに満開になるでしょう。

庭全部の木が花を開いたらきっと爽快だろうなー。と想像しただけでワクワクします。

きっと来週あたり、ふらっと散歩に来るつもり。

それまで、バイバイ。　ですね。

Carnival in Venasque

In our small village, Venasque had the Carnival in 2010.

The theme is " AFRICA"

It is sounds very wild and adventurous for me but for the people in Venasque had very funny way of express this theme. (see photo)

March is Carnival season in France, even the small village like Venasque had a one.

Of course if you go to Nice or Menton, you might see amazing Carnival with colourful dancer with tiny bikini.

We were just like a fancy dress party despite of African theme.

It was fun and enjoyable day with people from village again.

My mum and her friend were there with us and enjoyed this small carnival.

They were so worried that who is going to clean the road after all the mess we made.

I have no idea.

The wind ????? maybe!

私たちの住む小さな村のベナスクでも、カーニバル２０１０　がありました。

テーマは　アフリカ。

とてもワイルドで冒険的はテーマなのですが、村の人たちはそれぞれ、解釈の違い（？）からか面白い受け取り方をしていました。笑（写真参考）

3月はフランスではカーニバルの季節です。こんな小さな村までカーニバルがあります。

有名なニースやマントンのカーニバルに行くと、もっと華やかで、色とりどりの踊り子さんがちっちゃなビキニで踊ってます。

私たちのカーニバルは、どっちかというと　アフリカというテーマにもかかわらず、ファンシードレスパーティーってのり。まあ、それは、それで村の人たちと再び楽しいひと時をすごせました。

今回はうちの母たちが滞在していたので、家族そろって出かけたのもよかったです。

昔ながらの趣向の母たちは、この道路いっぱいに散っている紙吹雪は誰か掃除する人がおるんかねー。　としきりに心配してました。

よく考えると、確かにいい質問。

風　かな？？？？多分。

Ba-chan in France

My mum came to France from 8th of March to 16th of March for 2 weeks.

I hadn't seen my mother for 3years and half.

For Saya, it was the first time to see her grand mother from Japan.

Unfortunately my dad couldn't make it this time.

But I was so greatful to see my mum and her friend in France and too excited to sleep.

We had 4days sight seeing in Paris.

7days in Provence in Avignon.

and 1day in Euro Disney land.

My mum was very happy to see her grand children and also Renaud's family.

She was so impressed by Renaud's family who look after us very well.

Thomas was also happy with all the power ranger and kamen rider toys from Japan.

I am sure it will keep him very busy for a while.

After their departure, I felt very sure that we should go to see Ji-chan in Japan next time.

Next morning, When Saya was crying in her cot, Thomas went to her room and asked her,

"Don't cry Saya, O-ba-chan, and O-ne-san has gone already" in French.

I was still in bed and felt very warm with his thought.

おばーちゃんフランスに来る

母が友達を連れて2週間ほど私たちに会いにフランスまで来てくれました。

最後に母に会ったときから、なんと3年半。

さやちゃんにとっては初めての日本のおばーちゃんとのご対面です。

ちなみに、トマはこれが3回目。

今回、父は来ることが出来なかったのですが、

母が友達を連れて、わざわざフランスまで来てくれたこ事がとてもうれしくて、

しばらく興奮して寝れませんでした。

私たちは4日間のパリ観光

その後アビニヨンに来て、プロバンス観光

最後に1泊ユーロディズニー観光

母達の旅行中、南フランスは大寒波に見舞われ、雪は降るは、風は吹き乱れるは、天候は最悪でしたが、母は孫に会えた事がなによりもうれしかったようです。そしていつもよくしてくれる、レノーの家族にもとても感動していました。

もちろん、トマはたくさんのパワーレンジャー、仮面ライダーのおもちゃに大満足。

しばらくそのおもちゃでいい子に遊んでくれるでしょう。

母たちが帰った後、私たちはぜったい今度はみんなでおじーちゃんに会いに行こう！と誓いました。

トマは母たちが帰った次の朝、泣いているさやちゃんの寝室に行って、

ＳＡＹＡ！　おばーちゃんとおねーさんは日本にかえったよ。泣かないで！

フランス語で語りかけてました。

私はまだベットの中で、笑いながらも息子の物分りの良さに関心。

でもふと、なんでフランス語なんだろうー？？？？

Holiday in England

Thank you so much for all your support for our trip to England.

We had a fantastic 1 week holiday in Woking and London.

This trip to England meant a lot to me and Thomas.

I feel very happy and positive in France now.

It is nice to see you all and hope I will see you soon.

イギリス旅行

この度は、私たちのイギリス旅行のためにたくさんの方に協力していただき、とても感謝しています。

おかげさまで、短い1週間の旅は、順調に、すばらしい思い出になりました。

今回の旅は、ある意味、私たちの中ではとてもいいくぎりになったように思います。

また今度近いうちに再会がかなうことを祈ります。

la fete des amourex a Roquemaure

We have been to a little village called Roquemaure.

They have a celebration for St. Valentine every year.

Many people wear old clothes and march through the village, there are many organ players too.

People were singing songs with these organs everywhere.

It was a bit strange because everything there was OLD. Another way to say is Antique, of course. Many stalls on market made a nice atmosphere too

What amazed me in this village was those people who are wearing the old costume are not special actor, actually they come from the village wearing their grand, grand........ parents clothes from their garage. They are old, young, also baby in an antique buggy.

It was a very cold and windy day but many lovers include us enjoyed this special day.

Thomas bought a candy floss, and it was mega size!!!

恋人たちのお祭り a ROQUEMAURE　

アビニヨン近郊にある、ロカモウレという、ちいさな村で、バレンタインデイにちなんだお祭りあるというので、バレンタインデイの日曜日に行ってきました。http://www.avignon-et-provence.com/saint-valentin/fete-amoureux-roquemaure/index.html

ロカモウレという村は、ワイン畑に囲まれた小さな村で、こんなにたくさんの人でにぎわうなんてビックリするくらい地味なところです。

たくさんの人たちはうれしそうに、古い昔ながらの衣装を着て、町を練り歩いていました。たくさんのオルガン弾きもあちこちでオルガンを弾いて、周りでみんなが歌ってます。なにもかもが古い、よく言えば、アンティークで、不思議な感じ。たくさんのマーケットも出てお祭りムードを盛り上げてました。

もっとも驚いたのは、どうやら、この服を着て歩いてる人たちは、雇われた役者さんではなく、村の住人が蔵から出してきたおじいさんや、ひいおじいさんの服を着て、練り歩いていると言うこと。どうりで、お年寄りから、アンティークのバギーにのった赤ちゃんまで、色とりどり。

この日はとっても寒くて、風邪も冷たい日でしたが、たくさんの恋人たちは（わたしたちも！）この特別な日を楽しみました。

ついでに、トマの買った綿あめが巨大で、超感激。
